Quick Trip Golf Travel Bag Review
You know, it is really important to protect your golf equipment. I can tell you numerous times that I have been traveling with my expensive golf clubs, only to watch the baggage handlers beat them up badly. This is very frustrating to say the least. I don’t save all my money and splurge on the best Calloway clubs (bought them 3 years ago now) to have them dented and scratched!
Since I travel with my clubs a couple of times a year, I'm always looking at the latest/greatest golf travel bags, and they can get pricey very quickly. I went to my local golf store and started looking at options for golfers who don't want to spend over $100. I saw only a few, but there was one that caught my eye.
It was the new Quick Trip Golf Travel bag!
This entry-level golf travel bag, produced by the Golf Travel Bag Company, might be just what you are looking for. It is very reasonable in price (approx. $50) and offers some decent features. If you're looking for a monster bag, this is not it!

Features Of The Quick Trip Travel Golf Bag
The body of the bag is made from a strong polyester blend. It is very strong and durable. You do not have to worry about this bag ripping or just falling apart. Build quality is top notch.
There is a very strong carry handle. This is very important, because you don’t want to be carrying your precious golf clubs and have the handle fall off. This can be quite embarrassing.
There is a little compartment to carry your ID card. This is very important if you are traveling on an airplane or traveling with a large group of golfers. This simple little feature gets rid of any confusing situations you might have if your bag looks like someone else’s.
It has a protective PVC bottom. Have you ever been carrying something in the rain or on a gravel path and dropped it on the ground? When this happens, your equipment either gets wet or damaged. This bag has a PVC bottom, so this will not be a problem for you.
It holds bags up to 9.5’. Unless you have an oversized golf bag, this bag will fit your golfing equipment.
No economy priced bag is perfect, though. There are some downsides to this bag.
First, some people don’t like the look of polyester. They think it looks cheap and tacky. If you are one of these people, I would stay away from this bag. You should opt for a higher priced, leather bag,
Second, it doesn’t come in any other colors. This isn’t usually a big problem, but it is worth noting. If you like to have everything match or don’t like black bags, then this is not the bag for you.
Lastly, it doesn’t have any wheels. If you have back problems, weak arms, or just don’t like carrying a heavy bag around, steer clear of this bag. You should usually look for a bag that has wheels, as lugging around heavy golf equipment all day can be very taxing.
After reading through all the pros and con’s of this bag, as well as glancing over some user reviews, I would say this is a nice entry level bag to have. While it is not leather and has limited features, it will do what you ask of it. If you are looking to make a fashion statement, look elsewhere.
